The Snookies Cookies’ story began in 1983 when Snookie and her husband opened their first store in Los Angeles. After a year of selling individual cookies, coffee and sandwiches, a customer suggested sending a box of cookies to Rick Dees- host of Kiis FM radio. Rick tried the cookies live on air and asked his listening audience, “How would you like the most delicious, fresh cookies delivered right to you?” As a result, the phone rang off the hook back at the store with requests for cookie deliveries.
With the initial delivery of cookies, customers began to request new packaging ideas and the creation of many delightful and fresh boxes and baskets were created and delivered all over Southern California. Snookies outgrew the little store in L.A. and they moved to a larger location in Glendale, CA. This move brought about many changes. Gone were the coffee and sandwiches. Instead, Snookies Cookies blossomed into one of the premiere gift basket companies on the west coast.
Now our cookies are a regular fixture at every major studio, including Disney, Warner Brothers, Universal, NBC, Fox, Sony, ABC, CBS & Paramount; delivering there on a daily basis. In addition to the major studios, Snookies also counts every major production company and talent agency as customers as well as T.V. shows such as: The Tonight show, The Conan O’Brian Show, Extra, Ellen, The Vicki Lawrence show, The Leeza Gibbons' show...and many more!

Our unique gift packages of irresistible cookies and gourmet offerings include our signature cookies and milk packages and the famous giant hot air balloon basket. With business booming, Snookies expanded into the building next door and reopened the retail store. Customers were thrilled to have the additional space to shop and free samples were always offered.
Over the years Snookie had hired a variety of managers to help run her business but her vision remained a constant: deliver quality and scrumptious products. In 2007, Snookie and her husband decided to hang up their oven mitts and retire; they decided to sell the company. They searched carefully to find an investor group with hospitality and restaurant experience. Under lock and key, Snookie passed along her legacy and her recipes to the new owners. And with this new ownership came many new and wonderful things. However, what has remained the same for over 27 years is Snookies recipes for quality baked goods and products, a desire to serve the community and a cast and crew of dedicated bakers and service representatives- some of them with 20 years of service to the company. In fact, the employees of Snookies are truly the heart and soul of this business.
And now we enter a new era as we continue to raise the bar on quality and service. In the winter of 2009 Snookies moved down the street on Victory Blvd. and opened in its new and fresh location at 1609 Victory Blvd, Glendale, CA. Now we have expanded space and we hope to continue to serve you. New to 2011 you will find the owners who purchased Snookies in 2007-on site and managing the business.
